Description: Brampton Wood - Birch Quarter The north-west corner of Brampton Wood where the Macmillan Way meets the Jurassic Way meets the Midshires Way, as the collection of signs on the post indicates. But the bridleway ahead is none of these, yet well used, along the edge of the wood. This section of the wood is called Birch Quarter. The 1:25K map clearly shows five named quarters. Five quarters? Don't ask.
