Description: The S.S. Blinky Jr. Building was built in 1946 and is located at 465 W. Gila Bend Highway. From 1946 to 1981, this was the site of Wilson Motors, Inc., owned by C.J. "Blinky" Wilson. Wilson got his start in the automobile business at the Casa Grande Garage, on Sacaton Street, which was started by his father Hugh in 1912. In the late 1940's, Wilson set out on his own to establish Wilson Motors at this location. Wilson served on the Casa Grande City Council from 1933 until 1935. . It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2002, reference #02000748.
