Description: Western lawman Charles Alexander Shibell was Deputy Sheriff, Pima County, Territory of Arizona, then elected Sheriff from 1876 to 1880. He later owned the Palace and Occidental Hotels in Tucson, served again as deputy sheriff and later was Pima County Recorder until he died.
