Description: Chester Cathedral, England. The cathedral seen from the south-west looking towards the nave, left, and the unusually large south transept, right. The rebuilding of the nave and the building of the south transept commenced in the early 1300s, but ceased, incomplete, in 1375, and did not recommence until about 1485. The different building dates are revealed in the Flowing Decorated Gothic and Perpendicular Gothic window tracery.
