Description: The last Chinook salmon caught in the Pajaro River watershed, by Herman Garcia, Sr. in 1953, in Uvas Creek near the intersection of Burchell Road and Watsonville Road by Chitactac-Adams Heritage County Park. It is a 2022 photo of the 1953 taxidermy specimen, the taxidermist having reconstructed the 40 lb. salmon from a 1953 photograph.
