Description: The remains of the east window of the chancel of Dale or Stanley Park Abbey. The abbey's foundation is officially dated 15 August 1204 and it was dissolved 24 October 1538. The fabric underwent very rapid decay in the mid-18th century, leaving only the window at more or less full height. The arch is on private land but this is an external view from the public footpath to the east.
