Description: The Biertan Donarium - an early Christian votive object of early 4th century, unearthed at Biertan, near Sibiu, in Romania. The inscription in Latin reads "EGO (Z)ENOVIUS VOTUM POSVI", with the approximate translation: "I, Zenovius, offered this gift". Discovered in 1775 in the Chimdru forest, about 5 km south of Biertan and it was part of the collections of Baron Samuel von Brukenthal, nowadays being part of the exhibits of the Brukenthal National Museum, Romania.
