Description: Thomas Savery steam engine outline. Valves a and c are both opened simultaneously. Steam gets into the cylinder, shoving water through c. Valbes b and d are opened, while a and c are closed. Cold water is sprayed over the cylinder, provoking the steam to condense, which causes a vacuum which sucks out water from mine.
