Description: An illustration of the yellow penduline tit (Anthoscopus parvulus) and its nest The illustration is from the book Faune de la Sénégambie (Oiseaux) by Alphonse Trémeau de Rochebrune which was published in Paris in 1884. The text describing the bird is on pages 271–273 Rochebrune uses the binomial name Aegithalus calotropiphilus which he had introduced in 1883. This is now considered a junior synonym of Anthoscopus parvulus (Heuglin, 1864)
