Description: Flaming Gorge is located in the extreme northeast of Utah, near the town of Manila, on the Wyoming border and fairly close to Colorado as well. The main feature of this area is this reservoir, which straddles both Utah and Wyoming. I am on UT-44 which leads from Manila to southbound US-191, on my way to Vernal.
