Description: GWR 'FRUIT B' fitted, with a central end shuttered louvre ventilator, planked, 10 ton banana van No.105599, Diagram Y.7, Lot 1054, built by GWR (Swindon) in 1929. TOPS code VNO. At the Great Western Society, Didcot Railway Centre, 20 April 2019. Swindon built 100 Y.7's in 1929-30. They were a fruit version of the general merchandise vans V21 & V.33.
