Description: GWR 'MINK A' 12 ton unfitted (but later fitted), all-plywood, ventilated, goods van No.W 146366, Diagram V.38, Lot 1525 (BR Lot 2083), built by BR(WR), Swindon in 1948. At the Great Western Society, Didcot Railway Centre, 20 April 2019. 449 Diagram V.37 (GWR-built) and V.38 (BR-built) vans were built at Swindon in 1947-48. They were an unfitted version of the GWR Diagram V.36, 700 of which were built in 1944-47.
