Description: GWR 'OPEN C' (though redesignated by BR 'TUBE') 14 ton (originally 13 ton) 4-plank, fitted, general mechandise/tube wagon No.94835, Diagram O19, Lot 844, built at GWR (Swindon) in 1920. TOPS code STO. At the Great Western Society, Didcot Railway Centre, 20 April 2019. There was a long line of gradual development of the 'OPEN C's': O8 (320 built 1907-13); O16 (80 built 1913-14); O19 (370 built 1917-27); O28 (50 built 1929-31); and O34 (380 built 1936-39).
