Description: Great Western Railway (Britain) Pooley Workshop Van 82917 at the Great Western Society's Didcot Railway Centre in England. Built by the GWR at Swindon in 1911 as a standard "Mink" covered van to Diagram V.12 on Lot 652; rebuilt 1934 on Lot 1148 as a mobile workshop van for contractors Henry Pooley & Co. who maintained the company's weighbridges.
