Description: Assembly of eggs of a Culex species. Location: West of Munich, Germany, near city border, beginning of June in 2007. The pond was newly created 2 weeks before. Image was taken through the okkular of a binocular with a digital camera. During transfer the structure broke up in two large parts and som individual eggs, the latter laying now flat on the water surface.
