Description: The Open Day held at British Railways Old Oak Common depot in West London over the weekend of 5th and 6th of August 2000 must surely be one of the greatest gatherings of heritage diesel traction in the preservation era. The outstanding line up included both surviving Warships, two Westerns, two Hymeks, the sole Clayton and even an Irish Metro-Vick. What more could we have asked for? The Co-Bo possibly, but let's not split hairs here! Looking back over these prints as I was scanning them in, I wondered whether we will ever see it's like again?
