Description: George Lansbury (1859-1940), politician, at the funeral of King George V, St. George's Chapel, Windsor. Lansbury was Labour MP for Bromley and Bow 1910-1912 and 1922-1940, and leader of the Labour Party 1931-1935. He was a major supporter of equal rights and votes for women and led the Poplar Rates Rebellion in 1921 whilst mayor of Poplar.
