Description: Stone head from Mšecké Žehrovice (Rakovník district, Czech Republic) found in 1943. Made of cretacesous limestone (marl). La Tène culture. Probably the head of a Druid, perhaps to honor the prominent ancestor of the local community. It was deposited in the pit (as a ritual funeral) about 100 BC. The Celts. Exhibition in the National Museum in Prague.
