Description: Between 8000 and 2500 BC, these bands occupy land hunter - gatherers, which moved from the coast in search of food. Gradually these groups reached a lifestyle more developed in regard to agriculture, especially maize, and associated hunting guanaco. Between 300 BC and 200 AD, burst into the valley agroalfareras populations originating in northwestern Argentina. These are from the first archaeological evidence of past Salamanca, as evidenced by the findings of the towns of San Agustín, Grove, Chillepín, Panguesillo, and Salamanca Chalinga same.
