Description: Cumberland Island horses on a beach of Cumberland Island, Georgia. Cumberland Island National Seashore is home to many wild (feral) horses. "As we were packing up to leave the beach a few hours later, we spotted this small herd of horses visiting the beach. I guess they wanted to get away from the bugs in the marsh, too. They stood here for quite some time just twitching their tails."
