Description: A classic look of the dogs bred by the Howard family since the early 1900's. A well proportioned animal, built for a variety of tasks such as working and blood recovery of game animals. The SBMC is noted for their protective traits of not only people, but property and livestock as well. The males can reach weights of upward to 90 lbs., while females generally range 65-70 lbs. A dedicated multifunctional family dog.
