The Jefferson Landing Building is located on the Missouri River close by the Capitol building in Jefferson City. The first section of the building was erected for Richard Shackleford in 1834, then subsequent to 1836 two later additions were constructed for new owner Harry Colgan. The building had many uses through the years, including as a hotel, warehouse, store, and offices for the wharfmaster. The building later became known as the Lohman's Landing Building after Charles F. Lohman acquired it in 1852.
