Description: Situated in the Gorsedd Gardens. John Corey (1828-1910) was a coal owner and philanthropist who supported many evangelical causes. His company owned the largest fleet of coal wagons in the UK. The statue shows him with a Bible in his hand. From 1893 he resided in Dyffryn House.
