Description: The Reverend Josiah Henson, a promenent member of the Dawn Colony in Ontario Canada, was a former slave. His autobiography inspired Harriet Beecher Stowe to write Uncle Tom's Cabin. Queen Victoria considered him to be such an outstanding citizen that she had his grave marker topped with a crown, an honour bestowed on few citizens.
