Description: Kai thot takhrai (Thai script: ไก่ทอดตะไคร้) is deep fried chicken and lemon grass. The lemon grass (the brown coloured "hay"-like shreds beneath the pieces of chicken) has been shredded very thin and deep fried together with the chicken imparting its flavour to the chicken. The crispy lemon grass can also be eaten. The dish is served with a sweet chilli sauce dip.
