Description: The Kipp homestead buildings are on the bottom where Cow Creek joins the Missouri River, near Cow Island. They are located in the region known as the Missouri Breaks. The homestead was filed in 1913 by Jim Kipp, grandson of the historical figure James Kipp (1778–1880). This shows detail of the stable, built into the bank that descends from the homestead down to the river.
