Description: Accompanied by Ambassador Rusdi Kirana, the Chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council (Majelis Ulama Indonesia), Prof. K.H. Ma’ruf Amin, who also serves as the Rais Aam of Nahdlatul Ulama (PB NU), paid a courtesy visit to the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Mahathir Mohamad. The meeting was marked by warmth and brotherhood. They discussed efforts to strengthen cooperation between Indonesia and Malaysia as forces of moderate Islam, economic issues, and K.H. Ma’ruf Amin entrusted the well-being of Indonesian migrant workers to Prime Minister Tun Mahathir. K.H. Ma’ruf Amin also attended a gathering with the Indonesian diaspora and the 14th anniversary celebration of Jam’iyatul Kiflaini (Kuala Lumpur, 8–9 September 2018).
