The talks covered bilateral relations between the Community and Malaysia, relations between the Community and ASEAN, and the progress of the Uruguay Round, notably as regards the negotiations on tropical products, and trade; attention has also focused on the situation regarding Malaysian exports such as cocoa, tin and rubber, and the campaign against drug abuse and trade promotion.
