Description: The historical chronology of Kingdom Hearts - Legend: A: As predicted by the Master of Masters, the Keyblade War takes place, in which Kingdom Hearts disappears into darkness and the real χ-blade is destroyed by dividing into twenty fragments. The light contained in the hearts of the children revives the worlds destroyed by the Darkness and the Dandelions, having avoided the War, strive to protect that Light by becoming the first new Keyblade Masters following the instructions given to them earlier by Master Ava. B: 1000 years pass following the events of Kingdom Hearts χ and the Keyblade War. C: At the end of the events of Birth by Sleep, Ventus has lost his heart (which has found a home in that of a young Sora) and now rests in a secret room of Castle Oblivion, Terra has become the new Xehanort but has lost his memory following a confrontation with Aqua, and Aqua is trapped in the Realm of Darkness. - Beginning of Secret Episode of Birth by Sleep. D: Ten years pass between the events of Birth by Sleep and those of Kingdom Hearts. Since time does not exist in the Realm of Darkness, Aqua does not realize this time has passed. E: Aqua finds herself at Castle of Dreams, trapped in the Realm of Darkness, and starts looking for a way out - Beginning of Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage-. F: Sora sacrifices himself to awaken the six Princesses of Heart and give Kairi back her heart, thus becoming a Heartless and creating his Nobody: Roxas, who is later recruited by Xemnas into Organization XIII. G: At an unspecified time, Mickey Mouse meets Aqua in the Realm of Darkness. H: Aqua, attempting with Mickey to close the door connecting the realms of Light and Darkness, is separated from the King and is once again lost in the Realm of Darkness when the door is closed. After closing the door, Sora, Donald and Goofy enter Castle Oblivion. - Beginning of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. I: While Sora discovers more about Naminé and his memories she altered, Riku climbs up the basements of Castle Oblivion and faces the Darkness in his heart, learning to recognize it, accept it and control it. Xion, Roxas' replica made from Sora's memories, joins the Organization. J: Sora decides to sleep for a year to recover his memories with Naminé's help, and forgets about the events of Chain of Memories; due to this, Roxas falls into a coma and when he awakens, he has fragments of Sora's memories. Riku also manages to escape the basements and allies with DiZ to learn to better control his powers, helping protect Naminé with Mickey. K: Roxas wants to avenge Xion by eliminating Xemnas, but is intercepted by Riku, defeated and taken to the virtual Twilight Town. L: After a week in the virtual Twilight Town, Roxas meets Sora to allow him to wake up. M: Sora, Kairi and Riku return to Destiny Islands after the defeat of Xemnas. Jiminy Cricket discovers a mysterious phrase in the Journal - Beginning of Kingdom Hearts: Coded. N: Sora, Kairi and Riku receive a letter from King Mickey, in which he informs them of what he discovered on his journey in the Datascape, and summons Sora and Riku to Yen Sid to be subjected to the Mark of Mastery exam. - Epilogue of Kingdom Hearts II. O: After discovering Xehanort's plans and rescuing Sora, the Mark of Mastery exam is concluded, which sees only Riku named as the new Keyblade Master. Sora then goes to train in order to pass the exam. P: Kairi is brought by Riku to the Mysterious Tower on Yen Sid's orders, where Mickey tells them how he met Aqua in the Realm of Darkness - Prologue of Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage- Q: At the end of the story, Riku and Mickey go to recover Aqua from the Realm of Darkness while Kairi goes to train together with Lea under Merlin. Later, Sora returns to the Mysterious Tower and is sent by Yen Sid on a journey to recover the power he lost due to Xehanort. - Epilogue of Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage-. R: After Sora finally gains the power of waking, Aqua and Ventus are rescued. Kairi and Lea finish their training and the seven light assemble at the Keyblade Graveyard. S: Master Xehanort forges the χ-blade, conjuring Kingdom Hearts' power, and is confronted by Sora. After a long battle, Xehanort is finally defeated and Sora seals Kingdom Hearts away. After this, Sora begins to search for Kairi. - Beginning of Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind. T: After re-experiencing the events of the Keyblade Graveyard and of Scala ad Caelum, Sora finds Kairi returns to Destiny Islands with her; however he vanishes, having abused the power of waking. At the Keyblade Graveyard, Braig reveals himself to be Luxu and summons Ira, Invi, Aced and Gula to proceed with the Master of Masters' plan. - Epilogue of Kingdom Hearts III. U: An year has passed since Sora's disappearance, with all the guardians of light looking after him but without success. At the Final World, Sora battles and defeats Yozora, who leaves with an enigmatic sentence. Kingdom Hearts icon: Indicates the appearance of a Kingdom Hearts at a specific point in the game.
