Description: Southern side of the Melan Bridge, located east of Rock Rapids in Lyon County, Iowa, United States. Built in 1893 to carry a road over a small creek, this bridge — among the first to use Josef Melan's reinforced concrete bridge design — has since been moved to Emma Sater Park. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
