Description: Mesopotamia, by the River Cherwell in the English city of Oxford, is an ait that separates the main river channel (left) and the leat of the former watermill at King's Mill (right). The footpath runs the length of Mesopotamia and gives access to the city centre via Parson's Pleasure and the Parks. About half-way along the ait, a weir allows surplus water to be returned to the main channel, and a footbridge crosses the weir.
