Description: Mount Washington as seen from Rattlesnake Ledge. The mountain lies on the western margin of the Cascade Range. It is located east of Seattle, WA, USA by about 30mi (48km). – Mount Washington is the peak nearly in the center of the photo. The little "bump" half way down in front is Cedar Butte. The peak on the right is Mt. Kent. Below Mt. Washington in the valley floor to the far right is Chester Morse Lake. To the left and below Mt. Washington is Grouse Ridge, a morraine left by a now extinct glacier that occupied the Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River.
