Description: NR class locomotive no. NR28, in a blue and yellow Indian Pacific livery, leads an eastbound Indian Pacific underneath the Great Eastern Highway and around a left hand bend towards the Avon Valley, Western Australia, about 40 minutes after its departure from East Perth Terminal at the start of its transcontinental journey to Sydney, Australia. At this point, the dual gauge, double track Eastern Railway marks the border between the outer eastern Perth suburbs of Midvale (visible behind the train) and Swan View (where the photographer was standing).
