Midvale is a suburb in Perth, Western Australia. It is split between the City of Swan and the Shire of Mundaring. Its postcode is 6056.
Midvale was created in the early 1950s. Its name comes from two places: Midland (a nearby area) and the old Helena Vale Racecourse. The land where the racecourse used to be is now part of Midvale.
The southern border of Midvale is the Great Eastern Highway. The Eastern Railway forms its eastern border. Many homes in Midvale were built by the government. Some of these homes have been updated as part of a project called "Eastern Horizons New Living."
