Description: The Pico House hotel, in 1875. On North Main Street at the Pueblo de Los Angeles Plaza in Los Angeles, California. Designed by Ezra F. Kysor and built by Governor Pio Pico in 1869-70, this structure initially served as a lavish 80-room hotel. The Pico House is California Historic Landmark #159 and National Historic Landmark NPS-72000231.
