Description: This diagram shows the second fort, built to replace the original fort which was destroyed during the Battle of York during the War of 1812 at the location of what is now Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In the fall of 1813, new barracks, blockhouses and magazines were built. Helped by better trained troops, the new fortification was strong enough to withstand a third attack by the Americans in 1814.
