Description: The "Poeta Manoel de Barros" bridge which crosses the Paraguay River on highway BR-262. The bridge is about 2km in length and was constructed at a cost of R$100 million. It was inaugurated in 2001. Prior ro this, all road traffic travelling to Corumbá from the state capital, Campo Grande, needed to cross the river on a slow river barge.
