Description: The fitting on the left has not been passivated, the fitting on the right has been passivated. Passivation was performed in 35% nitric acid solution for two hours on the right fitting. The fitting on the left was cleaned with soapy water, ultrasonic cleaned, and rinsed with deionized water.
