Description: The Princessville Cemetery in Lawrence Township, New Jersey. Founded 1843 when the colonial era Princessville Inn donated 3/4 acre for a Methodist Episcopal Church. The church was moved in 1890 after which a small church was built on the site by local African-American families. The church was destroyed by a hurricane in 1950 and the Inn by fire in 1982. The graves date from 1846-1921.
