Description: A close examination of this wall reveals faded Chinese characters. During the Cultural Revolution it was popular to paint revolutionary slogans on walls, but as the decades have passed these slogans have lost favour and this one has had an attempted removal. Wuhan University, Hubei province, China. The slogan reads "Boundless faith in Chairman Mao", from top to bottom:
