Description: A Roman 40 librae (about 13 kg or 29lb) stone weight c 200AD on display in the Eschborn Museum, Eschborn, Germany (10 km NW of Frankfurt-am-Main). The weight (with hook) is 41.7 cm (16.4") high and the stone itself is 21.5 cm (8.5") hight and 21.5 cm (8.5") in diameter. The Roman libra (or pound) was 327.45 g (11.6 oz). The "credit card" in the foreground illustrates its size.
