Description: There is nothing like spending an afternoon at the beach. Especially when it is the first weekend of the year, and I live in Southern California where it happens to be sunny and mild. Also an excuse to continue playing with the compressed perspective of the telephoto lens, which I had forgotten about until a month ago.
