The North Queensland Cowboys won the match 38-26 against the St George-Illawarra Dragons. The game attracted a crowd of 4,487. The Round 24 game was the second of two NRL games played in Rockhampton over two consecutive weeks with the attendance boosted by the presence of a Queensland-based team. (1,624 more people attended the second game compared to the previous week's game at Browne Park between Wests Tigers and Cronulla Sharks.)
