Description: Aerial view of William A. Shea Municipal Stadium, usually shortened to Shea Stadium, located in Flushing, Queens, New York City. In the foreground the IRT Flushing Line of the New York City Subways can be seen with the Willets Point–Shea Stadium station in the middle. The wide footwalk leads to Flushing Meadows Park. At the lower left corner there is the Corona Yard facility. The long inspection shed was torn down in August 2006.
