Description: Jefferson or spotted salamander larva just out of the jelly... we are watching them grow. Definitely Ambystoma maculatum - if the time stamp is correct (May 12) that's eliminates A. jeffersonianum. By the time A. maculatum is hatching, A. jeffsonianum are large enough to be feeding on the newly hatching A. maculatum
