Description: This is a detail of the Saint John the Baptist statue kept in Xewkija Parish Church in Gozo, Malta. The statue is sculpted in wood by Maestro Pietro Paulo Azzopardi in 1845. In 1943 the statue was repainted by Joseph Briffa.
