Description: London Chartered Bank, Brisbane, ca. 1889. This building was erected between 1887-1889 and was designed by G.M.H. Addison. It was situated on the corner of Queen and Creek Streets. It was later the E.S. & A. (English, Scottish & Australian) Bank and finally the ANZ Bank. The building was demolished in 1976. (Description supplied with photograph.). [Correction - description should say "was designed by Brisbane-based architect G.H.M. (George Henry Male) Addison"]
