Description: Статуя Ермака. г. Новочеркасск (Россия). Скульптор В.А. Беклемишев. 1904 год. Объект культурного наследия федерального значения. Возведён рядом с Вознесенским Кафедральным собором. Представляет огромную гранитную глыбу, оттёсанную под дикий камень, на которой возвышается четырёхметровая бронзовая фигура донского героя Ермака Тимофеевича. В левой руке он держит древко ратного знамени, а в правой — корону символизирующую покорённое Сибирское царство, которое он преподносит государству Российскому.
