Description: An "arrogantly shabby" surviving home from pre-Hurricane Hugo (1989) days. Pawley's Island, South Carolina. After Hugo the house was renamed " Still Standing" . The reason for the name change was that 9 houses to the north and 10 houses to the south were wiped off the island.
