Description: 18th-century sundial on the front of 40 Church Street, Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. The latin motto Tempus et ignis omnia perdunt means "Time and fire lose all", referring to a fire that destroyed much of the town in 1736.
